| The New town is double the area of Old Town. Founded by Charles IV ,this area is popular for Wenceslas Square ,National Museum State Opera ,National Theatre ,Charles Square, Garden and accommodation facilities. It is one of the crowded areas of Prague and not very popular with the tourist because it does not have the historical renaissance touch ,rather it is quiet modern. The city's many museums are accessible by bus and rail, especially close to the metro stations, and are sometimes located directly inside metro passageways.
