The New town is double the area of Old Town. Founded by Charles IV ,this area is popular for Wenceslas Square ,National Museum State Opera ,National Theatre ,Charles Square, Garden and accommodation facilities. It is one of the crowded areas of Prague and not very popular with the tourist because it does not have the historical renaissance touch ,rather it is quiet modern. The city's many museums are accessible by bus and rail, especially close to the metro stations, and are sometimes located directly inside metro passageways. This area of city is occupied by traders and craftsmen.

Peaceful parks and Wenceslas Square are just steps away from the architectural treasures and bustling street life of the city center. This is a central point to reach other tour area of

Prague. Many good hotels of Prague are located near Wenceslas Square.

The Prague Easter markets at the Old Town Square & Wenceslas Square run daily around 24 March-15 April . Handcrafted goods, all manner of food and drink and some traditional Czech customs are all on display.
